Tindalos Interactive’s weather-altering RTS take shape for launch on the PC.
Hitting the PC in 2015, Etherium is one to keep your eye on. We’ve been following the game for a while and love the look of this purely RTS game experience. Just because Tindalos isn’t looking to reinvent the wheel with Etherium though, doesn’t mean that there aren’t some new elements in the game.
Chief among the standouts is the weather control system, that allows gamers to actually weaponize the ecological systems of the worlds they’ll be fighting on. Although deformable terrain has been done before, weather modification has really never been attempted in this kind of game (or any kind of game for that matter), so that alone should prove pretty darn interesting and throw in some cool variables in both the campaign and the multiplayer modes.
There’s no firm release date as of yet for this one, but Etherium will be heading to the PC early next year.
