In preparations for next week’s release of Civilization: Beyond Earth, 2K has released the intro cinematic for the game on YouTube for fans to view.
The trailer follows a young girl as she launches into space aboard a rocket, the setting of the game. Beyond Earth has players utilizing the similar Civilization game mechanics to start a new colony for humanity. Players will have to compete with other civilizations, aliens and the land itself to establish a foothold for humanity’s future. Or just tech as fast as they can to the super mega death robots.
Civilization: Beyond Earth releases October 24, 2014 for PC, on both Steam and other digital distribution sources, as well as physical release.
