The Evil Within has horror, horror, and more horror… and gore

Well that’ll haunt your dreams huh? Seriously, The Evil Within is looking like a rebirth of the most gruesome kind of video game horror, which is exactly what fans are looking for from Shinji Mikami, the father of the genre.

Of course The Evil Within isn’t just horror as there’ll be plenty of action as well, and more than a few monsters to fight, as you can see in the video. Nevertheless, as you play, you’ll have to sort your supplies and conserve ammo which is all in the trappings of a survival/horror game of old. If you’re a devotee of the genre, it doesn’t look like you’ll be too disappointed by this one.
