Gamescom 2014: MadCatz announces M.M.O.te gaming mouse

Following up on its R.A.T.te and M.M.O.7 gaming mice, MadCatz has a brand new super-programmable gaming mouse headed to retail with the M.M.O.te.

The ‘te’ (which stands for Tournament Edition) version of the company’s M.M.O. gaming mouse offers a design inspired directly by e-sports pros and a mouse that’s got an eye towards competition. Complimenting the excellent R.A.T. series, the M.M.O. line is made specifically for those who enjoy the more Massively Multiplayer side of gaming.

Sporting an ultra-lightweight chassis and 60 programmable command possibilities (yes, 60), this is one mouse to be reckoned with. Under the hood, you’ll find an 8200 dpi sensor as well as the customization that you’d expect from a premium MadCatz product, so you’ll be able to alter the physical height of the unit as well as the surface detection level.

“MMO games are a staple of competitive gaming, and Mad Catz is dedicated to providing the tournament gamer with specialty hardware,” said Darren Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz.  “We believe the launch of ourM.M.O.TE Gaming Mouse will allow us to continue growing our market share in PC gaming through products designed specifically for the professional gaming community.”

The M.M.O.te should start shipping at the end of September, but you can pre-order one right now by clicking here.
