Sinestro spreads fear and order to Infinite Crisis

Green Lantern’s number one heavy is on his way to the DC Comics MOBA, Infinite Crisis.

In search of perfect order and vengeance upon his enemies, Sinestro’s power is fueled by fear. As a Blaster, Sinestro eliminates his enemies by spreading silence and fear to cull the weak.

A former mentor to Hal Jordan, he was once a renowned Green Lantern, praised by many. But when Jordan exposed Sinestro’s use of oppression and fear to “create order,” everything changed. Sinestro was put on trial and banished to the antimatter universe, where he found a new kind of power ring that channeled not Willpower, but Fear. In time, Sinestro would even come to control Parallax, the living embodiment of all fear.

Pretty easily one of the biggest characters in the New 52 era DC Universe, it was kind of odd that Sinestro wasn’t in Infinite Crisis already. Heck, he’s even got his own standalone book these days (take that Jordan). Not that that matters too much at this point though, since the villainous leader of the Sinestro Corps will be arriving near the end of the month.

He’s looking pretty cool too with signature yellow light-constructs and some neat powers and abilities like the ‘fear itself’ super move that actually brings a lil’ version of the fear entity itself, Parallax, onto the battlefield. If you’re into DC Comics and you like MOBA’s (multiplayer online battle arena’s) then you probably should fire up a copy of the DC-flavored online game on Wednesday, May 21st and see just how far fear can take you.
