Phoenix Online unleashes brand new shots and a trailer for Gabriel Knight

Phoenix Online Studios brought a brand new look at Pinkerton Road’s remake of the adventure game classic Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers to GDC this week. Needless to say, if you’re a fan of the voodoo-tinged hero, you’re going to want to watch this.

I was a pretty big fan of creator Jane Jensen’s Gabriel Knight titles back ing the 90’s, so it’s particularly great to see this new revamp turning out so darned great. Its still very much got the feel of the classic Knight game that it’s based on, but looks modern and cinematic in a way that the original never did. Not that you wouldn’t expect that of a modern remake of a game from 20 years ago, but it’s still still nice to actually see it in action if you’re a fan.

Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers should be out some time this year for the PC from Phoenix Online and Jane Jensen’s Pinkerton Road design studio.
