Infinite Crisis goes open beta across the PC Multiverse

Warner Bros and developer Turbine’s DC Comics arena fighter, Infinite Crisis, has finally gone open beta. So what do you fight for?

Infinite Crisis has been in beta for so long I almost forgot is was a closed beta, although that’s a point that’s kind of gone by the wayside. The game is now in a gloriously open beta state and DC Comics fans can sign up any old time they want.

The free-to-play MOBA already featured the big guns of the DCU like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, and now has added the likes of Green Arrow, Aquaman and Mecha Superman to its roster. The open beta will also have a trio of new maps, including the just announced ‘Gotham Divided’.

This new playground sees a Gotham City separated by a dimensional rift that connects modern-day Gotham to the Gotham by Gaslight Elseworlds city from the famed 1990s graphic novel of the same name. Turbine is taking the DC Comics theme and running wild with this one, cool stuff for any longtime fan of the DCU.

Being a MOBA too, there isn’t a whole heck of a lot that you have to know before you dive in. So even if you’re not the biggest fan of the comics, it’s still a pretty neat online battle game with a bunch of cool to play as characters.

Infinite Crisis is available now in open beta and can be signed up for (for free) here.
