GOG toasts 30 years of gaming with the Time Machine sale

The popular DRM-free internet retailer turns back the clock; all the way to the 1980’s and the birth of computer gaming.

GOG is easily one of my personal favorite places to pick up games and it’s not just because there are no DRM hassles. Two of the best things about the site are that they stock a phenomenal amount of classic games and they almost have some kind of neat sale promo running.

Celebrating just about three decades of PC gaming, GOG has put up some absolute classics on the sale block. Games like Wizardry, Deus Ex and Legend of Grimrock are all in (plus a bunch more) and can be had for as low as .59 cents.

This is a sale with a twist too as each game will be highlighted for a short amount of time on a slider. Gamers can add or remove time from that slider in real time by buying games or actually hitting the up or down arrow and changing the flow of game time by one second either way- hence the name.

The sale just went live a shot time ago, so hop on over to GOG.com and see what’s available now. Just hustle over, and keep popping back on to see what’s new, as this Time Machine won’t be sticking around for too long.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
