The Raven steals onto the PSN

LIke in the Xbox Live release, all three chapters of Nordic Games’ The Raven- Legacy of a Master Thief are available right now for download on Sony’s online gaming service for the PS3.

“Yet again, we’ve put everything into the latest console version to deliver the same experience on different peripheral devices,” says Martin Kreuch, Producer at Nordic Games. “With the release on the PlayStation®Network, we finished the third and final chapter in terms of available platforms (1. PC/Mac/Linux, 2. Xbox Live)”

The Raven spreads its wings in a trek across 1960’s era Europe on the hunt for the title character. Cast as both the Raven and an inspector hot on the crook’s tail feathers, The Raven is a pretty interesting take on the whole heist genre that was so popular in Hollywood- especially in the ’60s. And although it is an episodic game in style with three episodes making up the complete experience (‘The Eye of the Sphinx’, ‘Ancestry Of Lies’, and ‘A Murder Of Ravens’), all three installments are available right now on the PSN so you can play ’em all in sequence instead of waiting a month or two between cliffhangers.

We reviewed The Raven when it was first released on the PC last year and thought it was a ripping little caper. If you’d like to read through and get the gist before you dive in, click here.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
