Coming to the PS4 and Xbox One, EA’s latest Need for Speed is exactly the next-gen showpiece that you’d think it would be.

Whichever version you choose, you’re going to get a very pretty racer, that’s for sure just from what the videos above showed off. Whether effects, the cars and the landscapes all look appropriately good looking and extremely slick and polished. The police get into the races way more than I figured they were going to too, which is cool.
Unlike the Xbox One, which will also have Forza Motorsport 5 on shelves, the PS4 version of Rivals will be the only racing game to bow in for Sony’s console at launch (since DriveClub was delayed). So while you have a choice to make on the Xbox One (unless you just get both), you’ll be taking Need for Speed Rivals home on November 15th if you’re a PlayStation gamer looking for a little adrenaline-fueled action. Not exactly a bad thing by the way.
