The Road to Battlefield 4 gets persistant

Persistance will play a big part in the battlefield in the latest edition of the shooter series.

EA and DICE’s have detailed a whole mess of Battlefield 4’s new features and additions through the Road to Battlefield 4 dev-diary series. Now they take a look at the game’s persistence- meaning the persistent presence of your character in the online arena.

DICE calls it “their deepest online with unique rewards ranging from ribbons, medals, Assignments and more”. Valerian Noghin, DICE Persistence Designer (yes, really), talks you through what’s new and just how you’re going to interact with your character online in the all-new Battlefield 4 on the official site. Check it out for yourself right here.

Battlefield 4 assaults the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 29th with Xbox One and PS4 editions arriving in November.
