NYCC: The Witcher coming to comics?

Publisher CD Projekt RED and Dark Horse Comics are teasing at a deal that’ll be officially announced at NYCC this week that just might have the monster hunter coming to the four-color page.

There really isn’t much more than that teaser trailer to go on for right now, but it looks like The Witcher is destined for a return to the printed form courtesy of publisher Dark Horse Comics. The character of Geralt originally came from a series of novels of course, so this wouldn’t exactly be virgin territory for the fantasy character.

The big announcement will be made at the Full Color Fantasy: Fantasy Comics Past, Present and Future! panel in room 1A14 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in NYC on Friday the 11th, which it the first full day of the show. The panel starts at 1:30pm and will run through 2:30pm, so take note and mark your calendars Witcher fans.
