You Don’t Know Jack Party trivializing iOS now

The famed party/trivia game is now available for all your party needs on iOS.

If you have an Apple TV and a device hooked up to it via AirPlay, then you pretty much have a You Don’t Know Jack home console. Very simply, the game/App hooks up, up to four iOS devices to an Apple TV for on TV play of the fan favorite trivia game.

You can, of course, also play right on your iPhone or iPad in a more traditional manner, but the on TV stuff is particularly fun if you’ve got a party going- or just a couple of friends hanging around for the evening. What’s more, developer Jackbox Games says that there’s more to come along these lines too.

“YOU DON’T KNOW JACK Party blurs the lines between mobile and console gaming” said Mike Bilder, GM, Jackbox Games. “This new app is our first of several planned releases that leverage mobile technology like Apple’s AirPlay to bring people together to play on whatever screen they choose.”

YDKJP also keeps many of the game modes and conventions of the previous releases of the game on the Ouya as well as traditional consoles. The game is available now as a free download that’ll get you a trial episode, 30 other ‘episodes’ of 11 questions each are available beyond that so you can build up your collection of queries and make a much longer game to beef up the fun.

So uh, do you Know Jack?
