Ubisoft shows off more Assassin’s Creed IV gameplay

10 minutes worth of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag gameplay is loaded with shipwrecks, smugglers, pirate hunters and shark stalking.

The above video was shot at the Gamescom event from a few weeks back, of course at that time there was no game director Ashraf Ismail doing voiceover. Thankfully, his vocals are on there now as he talks up the finer points of the game.

There’s a ton of stuff to do in ACIV, not all of it’s taking down Templar structures and troops either and that’s a major plus as far as I’m concerned. Although, I have to say that what I’ve seen of the story so far has me intrigued almost as much as the straight-up pirating. This is a radically different Assassin’s Creed and that’s not a bad thing.

Look for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag to appear on the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC on October 29th with the Xbox One edition set for November 22nd. A PS4 version is coming too, but there’s no date set yet for that one to arrive.
