Focus and developer Frogwares newest Holmes titles is looking like it’ll easily be the best looking and most atmospheric of the long running series. Check out Holmes and the various unsavory types that’ll populate Crimes & Punishments after the break.
I’ve been a fan of this series for a long time and Crimes & Punishments just flat out looks like a completely different game than any of the titles that came before. Focus and Frogwares switched away from their in house engine for this one and went with the Unreal 3 engine and it shows in a big, big way.
Combine the visuals with Frogwares new focus on Holmes’ deductive skills and you just might have the first real triple ‘A’ game starring the world’s greatest consulting detective. As a fan of the literary character, I can’t wait to see what Crimes & Punishments is cooking up.
Expect to see Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC some time soon.
