Thief to be launched for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 along with next-gen consoles

Stealth action game Thief is to be released for both current and next-gen consoles.

Originally thought to be a next-gen only title, Eidos Montreal have announced that Thief will also be getting a release for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 with the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC versions, although no announcements have been made on a release for the WII U.

The Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions of the game are to be developed at Eidos Montreal, producer Stephane Roy had said the core gameplay of the next and current-gen versions of the game would remain intact as it was “really really important” to keep the “core mechanic” and “fun factor.”

About MrAwkwardOne

I've been a gamer since I was a child (which is going way back when) the very first console I owned was the Sega Master System, during my time as a gamer I have pretty much come across nearly every console including the Bally Astrocade(which requiered cassette tapes to play games) so I have broad range of knowledge when it comes to video games. My favourite game of all time is between Shadow Hearts (a rare gem of an RPG released for the Playstation 2) and Final Fantasy VIII.
