Rayman Legends getting portable on the PS Vita

Ubisoft announced that the PS Vita will be getting it’s own version of Rayman Legends, complete with some exclusive features and ‘guest stars’.

So in all, the Vita edition of Rayman Legends will feature Rayman as the Prince (from Prince of Persia) and Globox as a spy (from Splinter Cell), as well as those five new maps. The new maps will be playable with Murphy, the fly, via the rear touch-pad on the Vita for a very different looking Rayman experience.

You can also expect multiplayer in the form of leader boards, online challenges and local co-op play.

Rayman Legends slaps retail in the shelf this August 30th for the PS Vita, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
