CastleStorm developers release smashing dev diary

Zen Studios released an inside look at their upcoming title CastleStorm with a developer diary.

Mentioned a few times in the trailer is that Zen Studios thinks of CastleStorm as a kind of interactive LEGO set. What’s interesting is that the game was actually inspired by the popular building sets- the medieval sets in particular. It’s very clear, seeing the game in action, just how that affects gameplay as there are probably more than a few folks out there who could relate to having their LEGO castles destroyed in a hail of bricks catapulted by invading minifigures.

Tower defense meets offensive beat’em up action this Wednesday the 29th as CastleStorm invades Xbox Live Arcade.
