PS4 announcement coming before the end of the month?

It looks like Sony is about to show their next generation cards. A tease appearing on the Sony blog points to a big event coming at the end of February.

So not too heavy on the details there, but a major press event could only point to so many things. Keep in mind that it’s also been rumored that the PS4 (and the next Xbox for that matter) would be announced at or around the GDC in March and be on store shelves before the end of the year.

This would certainly be cutting in on that particular timeframe, but with Sony also rumored to be in the mood to get their next console announced before Microsoft has the chance to announce theirs, well… fill in the blanks and it’s not too hard to imagine a PS4 debut sooner rather than later.
