Battlefield Bad Company heads to the small screen

Fox television is putting together a TV show based on EA’s Battlefield spin-off- Bad Company. I guess the first thing that comes to mind is… why?

Seems like it’s a little out of left field doesn’t it? A Bad Company show?

In any event, the program is coming out of Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison production company and Sony TV. Writer John Eisendrath will be penning the tale and adapting the game into the live action series.

Battlefield: Bad Company never really held my interest as a story-based title in the first place, but I guess this isn’t really a bad thing per say. More exposure for video games to main stream audiences (even though there’s a lot of that already just coming out of the core medium) can’t possibly be anything but positive… unless of course Bad Company turns out to be a bomb of a different kind.

So, cross your fingers I guess?
