Ridge Racer Slipstream gets new courses and cars on iOS

Bandai Namco’s mobile edition of their famed Ridge Racer series just got a whole bunch of new content.

I had completely forgotten that Bandai Namco had a version of Ridge Racer on iOS. It sure looks like they haven’t though, since the new update for the game adds in quite a bit of new content.

Slipstream gamers will now have a four pack of new rides to race in with the Kamata Synci and RC410, and the Lucky Wild Evolver and Soldat Rain. In addition, there are two new courses as the Seacrest District (Ryan really get around apparently) and the Surfside Resort are open for some racing action.

On top of all that, there’s also the Masters’ Class 1 career mode, with “challenges, races, battles and achievements” that the company says will add up to hours of playtime. All in all, you’re getting a heck of a lot for the grand price of ‘free’ on the App Store.
