DC’s latest animated film is spinning out into a sequel comic with Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay. The 12 issue series will be digital only, with the first chapter available right now.

Arguably the two most popular villains in Ninja Turtles history, Bebop and Rocksteady are headlining their own mini-series from IDW. The baddie-bros are heading cross-county, and you better believe there’s gonna be trouble.

Is this the end of the Transformers comic book universe from current publisher IDW? It kind of looks like it is, as Unicron is coming to town, and he’s got his sights set on Cybertron and Earth.

IDW isn’t done with the Mirror Universe just yet, as a villainous version of an Enterprise crew member is still on board the ship in Star Trek: The Next Generation – Terra Incognita. Looks like things are going to get a little strange on board the 1701-D.

Lemire and Ormston’s Black Hammer universe continues to evolve in Age of Doom, a fresh miniseries from Dark Horse. As it opens, it seems as though the heroes have found a way out of the purgatory they’re trapped in. Maybe.

Shadowman makes his return to monthly action this week, as Valiant restarts its supernatural hero’s book. Meanwhile, the former emperor known as X-O Manowar goes to war against his former allies (and subjects).

Thanos is most definitely the villain of the day at Marvel Comics, and his original graphic novel series is in high gear. It’s a set of books that sees the conqueror gain the Reality Gem this fall with The Infinity Conflict.

Deadpool is still very much alive and well in the Fresh Start era of Marvel Comics. His ongoing series aside, he’ll also be starring in a six issue mini-series that’ll once again team him with his buddy Weasel. Deadpool: Assassin hits this June.

This summer is a big one for comics in general. For their part, DC Comics will be diving into new eras for Superman, but also the Justice League. For their premier super-team, that means top notch talent and a new lineup that includes an old (green) friend.

Classic X-Man Dazzler is back in action in the Marvel U this summer, as she gets a shot at the spotlight from writer Magdalene Visaggio and artist Laura Braga. Her solo book will set the singer/superhero against some baddies, staged against the Brooklyn music scene.

Pixar’s first-family of animated superheroes are on the way to the printed page thanks to Dark Horse Comics. The publisher is readying a series and a standalone graphic novel.

It’s shaping up to be an Avengers kind of spring. A major motion picture will be accompanied by a new #1 issue of The Avengers, bringing the classic “big three” heroes back together.

The Valiant Universe’s greatest ninja returns in Ninja-K #5 this week, right alongside the Valiant Universe’s worst super team.

The True Believers line returns to stands with classic tales of Ant-Man (and Giant-Man) and the Wasp. They’ll be hitting just in time for this summer’s movie, and cost you just a buck a piece.

Not attached to the DC Universe proper is DC Black Label. The publisher’s new imprint is set to hit the ground running with stories from big names, starring major industry talent.
