Fable Legends is set to be the biggest release in the series’ history.
Lionhead is doing a bit more work with the upcoming Fable Legends than any other entry in the series before. They kind of have to after all, since the game will not only be coming to the Xbox One, but also the PC. And sweetening the pot a little more, it’ll be cross-play enabled, so you’ll be able to play with PC-gaming pals via the Xbox One and vice-versa.
There is a catch though, and that’s that the game will be exclusively Windows 10’s. So if you’ve got a PC and won’t be upgrading to Microsoft’s newest OS, then you’ll be wanting to get Fable Legends on the Xbox One since you won’t be able to run the game. It’s worth noting though, that Win10 will be a free upgrade for Windows 7 and 8 owners, so it’s not like it’s all that big of a deal to do the upgrade… and is anyone all that in love with Windows 7 or 8 that they wouldn’t want the update?
Anyway, the multiplayer-centric Fable Legends doesn’t have a release date as of yet, but it’s on the way to the Xbox One and Windows 10-powered PC’s some time this year.
