Advanced Warfare gets live action with new Call of Duty trailer

Speeder bikes, high-tech arms, exo-suits, and… Taylor Kitch?

The above was directed by Peter Berg (who you probably know from movies like Hancock, Battleship, and The Rundown) with Taylor Kitch and the always alluring Emily Ratajkowski (she played the hallucination).

Aside from being live action, and therefor having ‘zero’ gameplay, the trailer actually showed a good deal of what you can expect from the game when it lands on consoles and the PC next month. Futuristic hardware paired with that staple CoD gameplay should make for a very interesting gameplay experience, one different from any other Call of Duty title that’s come before. I guess the best comparison I could make is to liken this jump in evolution to when Modern Warfare first released, which was a time when everybody was used to playing with WWII units and weaponry.

It should, at the very least, prove interesting. The Day-Zero edition of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launches on November 3rd, with the standard edition landing a day afterwards on the Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
