Deadpool cuts a rug this September

He’s a dancin’ fool that Merc with a Mouth! Marvel is prepping a special 3D motion cover for Deadpool’s Original Sin tie-in issue, and a trip back to the 90s.

This September, Deadpool’s getting in on all the 3D cover hullabaloo – and today, Marvel is proud to unveil Mark Brooks’ stunning 3D (Dashingly Dancing Deadpool) motion cover variant to DEADPOOL #34! Chart-topping writers Gerry Duggan & Brian Posehn along with artist Scott Koblish bring the truth about Deadpool’s past to light as the Merc With a Mouth’s Original Sin adventure comes to its nail-biting conclusion!

Flashback to an earlier time – the 1990s – covers were flashier, pouches were really in style, and every comics tied into an event or crossover. Have we mentioned this latest issue ties in to Original Sin yet? Thanks to the events of Original Sin, S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents Adsit & Preston have learned the dark secrets in Deadpool’s past.

Now, witness the events they uncovered about Deadpool first-hand as what really happened is finally revealed!  Plus, don’t miss guest appearances from some of the biggest comic stars of the 1990s – 90s Sabretooth, 90s Alpha Flight and 90s artwork.

Retailers may order 1 copy of the 3D (Dashingly Dancing Deadpool) motion cover for every 52 of the regular cover to Deadpool #34. Check your Marvel Mailer for additional ordering information.

So why’s ‘Pool dancing? Do you really need a reason? No, you don’t, because this is the master of oddball we’re talking about here. He could just as easily have been swinging across the cover on the flying trapeze and you know it. And seeing as how this is Deadpool and the variant cover for the book is going to be exceeding hard to get ahold of (I’d call 1 for every 52 issues pretty rare), I’d say that if you really want one, you might want to start asking about it at your local comics shop sooner rather than later. And maybe offer to bring them coffee or something. I don’t know, I’m thinking off the top of my head here.

Written by Gerry Duggan and Brian Posehn, with art by Scott Koblish and cover (both versions) by Mark Brooks, Deadpool #34 will prance itself on the racks this September.
