E3 2014: Bloodborne brings PS4’s Project Beast to terrifying life

Known under the codename of Project Beast, From Software’s Bloodborne brings a whole new horror experience to Sony’s newest console.

Zombies, monsters, buckets of gore, and a slightly Tim Burton-y macabre feel; Bloodborne has all the earmarks of a something that could be the next great horror experience. Being from From Software, it just might be of the fiendishly hard variety of game too. This is the developer that brought us Dark Souls after all.

I’m not the biggest fan of that series, but going all-out horror seems like  natural progression and, I have to admit, has my interest piqued. If From Software can weave a nice little gothic-horror narrative around the action that we saw in the trailer above, consider me sold on Bloodborne.

No release date as of yet for this one, but watch your back, we’ll have lots more on Bloodborne as it’s announced.
