Garden Warfare gets weird(er) with new free DLC offering

EA and PopCap’s Plants vs Zombies shooter, Garden Warfare, is about to get all that much odder with the brand new Garden Variety DLC pack. And the best part is, it’s free of charge.

When is ‘free’ not a great thing? This pack is a pretty generous one for something that’s no cost though. Not only do you get a bunch of wacky outfits for your plants and your zombies, but you also get the Gnome Bomb gameplay mode and Chomp Town map. Seriously, there’s a gnome bomb; what’s not to like?

The DLC pack is live and in (un)living color right now on Xbox Live and can be downloaded for either the Xbox One or 360 edition of Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare, which are also both available right this very second at your local game shop or via Live download.
