Japan gets one whopper of a trailer showcasing a metric ton of content. If you’re not keen on having too much revealed to you before a game’s release, then steer clear of the trailer.

As January draws to a close, Nintendo bumps up its advertisement of Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze. Not to mention a torrent of videos from other users surfacing on websites like youtube, showing off an generous amount of the game. This trailer is no different, giving you a taste of every single known world in this DKCTF. With each new set of screenshots and videos, this title only looks more and more enticing. From new and innovative stage mechanics in mine cart levels, to the incredible array of new hazards, it can make one waiting for this title impatient.

Nintendo was careful to not unveil too many bosses in the trailer. The seal and polar bear make an appearance yet again, but there was no other boss exhibited. Retro also made some new rocket barrel levels too; in these stages you view Donkey Kong from the back rather than the side. It doesn’t sound like much at first, but the change in perspective really alters the dynamic for the player. The rocket barrel controls just as it always has, but the mere change of view makes new types of hazards possible and has the player adjusting to this new perspective.
