Deadpool goes digital this month with Infinite Comics

Marvel Comics’ digital-only initiative (Infinite Comics) will play host to the Merc with a Mouth starting this month with Deadpool: The Gauntlet.

From Deadpool writers Gerry Duggan and Brian Posehn along with red hot artist Reilly Brown comes an all-new 13-part adventure that takes Deadpool into unknown! Dracula has a very important package he needs delivered – and only the Merc With the Mouth can be trusted. Don’t miss the most exciting new Deadpool story that will send shockwaves through the main Deadpool series in 2014!

Dracula has a package he needs delivered… yep, it’s a Deadpool story alright. Much like Wade himself, this is one Infinite Comic that’s set to be a bit twisted. The line, which is usually only available as digital offerings through Marvel’s online storefront or App, is going to be doing something a little bit different with a Deadpool-centric first issue that’ll actually be on the racks at your local comic shop. One more twist- that issue will be free of charge.

Free Deadpool? Yes indeed, all the insanity (and vampires apparently) that you can take will be absolutely free while supplies last on launch day for the book. From there on, the tale will be told in the usually digital style though, so keep your iPads at the ready. Just be there or be square, because these freebies probably aren’t gong to last all that long.

Deadpool: The Gauntlet #1 hits comic stores (for free) on the 15th of this month from Marvel Comics.
