Gamescom: LEGO Marvel Superheroes trailer busts loose

If you weren’t excited for LEGO Marvel Superheroes before, this new trailer should do it.

Quite plainly, if you’re a big time Marvel fan there’s no way you’re not happy with the way this is looking right now. More than just The Avengers and a few big name Marvel movie heroes and villains, it looks like Traveller’s Tales has thrown in nearly every A, B (and maybe even C) grade character that the Marvel Universe has to offer.

I was impressed with the amount of stuff that was going on in LEGO Batman 2 (come on LEGO DC Superheroes…), but LEGO Marvel Superheroes is looking way more impressive than even that. If the formula still holds up (and there’s really no reason to think that it won’t), then Marvel Comics fans definitely have something to look forward to in this one.

LEGO Marvel Superheroes hits the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, DS, 3DS, PS Vita, and PC on October 22nd. Xbox One and PS4 versions are also in the works and should arrive at retail soon after those consoles hit the shelves.
