Activision’s new take on Family Guy ‘Back to the Multiverse’ shows off its multiplayer side in this new bundle of screens.
Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse looks like it’ll have plenty going on for fans to sink their teeth into. Up to four players can take part and team up in team-based missions or hash it out solo in a free-for-all. The publisher also promises random challenges will pop up from time to time that’ll be true “to the spirit of the show” and that it’ll be loaded with unexpected happenings and oddball cameos.
It does seem a little strange to me that Family Guy will be more focused on multiplay than a single player campaign- but when you think about it, why not? Games based on animated shows like FG and the Simpsons don’t really have the greatest track record so why not try something different with the property? You never know, it just might work.
Look for Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse on store shelves November 20th for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
