One of the most talked about films of the summer, Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day gets a little more exploration in a new featurette.
Disclosure Day is coming
Yes, indeed, Disclosure Day is coming. Well, the movie is anyway, the real thing is still up in the air… although there are those online who’d say the two are related. From Steven Spielberg and screenwriter David Koepp though, the flick is coming up in short order. It’s also pretty easily one of the most highly anticipated films of the summer, and that’s more than understandable.
For one thing, the film looks pretty great, scratching a conspiratorial itch that doesn’t get much play anymore. The plot partially revolves around a whistleblower named Daniel, who’s come into some explosive information. Namely, that’d be that he’s got evidence of an alien presence operating on Earth.
While that’s cool on its own, there’s also been a massive amount of mainstream media coverage pertaining to almost exactly the same thing in the real world. So it’s pretty easy to see why the movie is making some extra waves. That said though, much of the plot is still a mystery.
For example, there with Daniel (played by Josh O’Connor) is TV weather presenter Margret (Emily Blunt). She’s caught up in events as well, and is suddenly able to understand and speak multiple languages. That includes one that might not be human.
Again though, there’s still a lot of mystery to this one. And if you’re in the lot who’d like to see more, then you might want to check out the short featurette that’s been released today. In it, a scant few additional details have eked out, all of which just have us wanting to head to the theater even more.
If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to seven billion people.
We are coming close to … Disclosure Day.
