Super Mario returns to Turtle Beach’s lineup

Peripheral maker Turtle Beach has a selection of new controllers (and a case) primed for the launch of the Super Mario Galaxy movie.

Is Turtle Beach in the Mushroom Kingdom?

For those who somehow don’t know, there’s a new Super Mario movie hitting theater today. Super Mario Galaxy brings Mario and crew into the great unknown, as they traverse the cosmos in an effort to put a stop to not only Bowser, but his tinier and meaner son, Bowser Jr.

With the movie out, you bet that there’s a heaping helping of merchandise to go along with it. And that includes both direct tie-ins and releases that take advantage of the property. Items run the gamut from toys to fast food tie-ins, and yes, video game peripherals. Turtle Beach is right there with that last category too, with a new selection up for pre-order.

Available right now, to reserve for your own collection, are a pair of controllers and a fresh case for your Switch console. None of the above specifically play off of the movie, but they’re all decidedly Super Mario in theme. One of the controllers actually features Rosalina too, who looks to figure prominently into the film.

Both controllers are wireless, and feature a little RGB magic, along with wide-ranging compatibility. Yep, you’ll be able to use ’em no matter which Switch console you might have.

Cosmic accessories

Take control of the galaxy with two new controllers: Rosalina Turtle Beach® Rematch™ Wireless RGB Gaming Controller and the Koopa Troop Rematch Wireless RGB Gaming Controller. Both are officially licensed for Nintendo Switch™ 2, Nintendo Switch™, Nintendo Switch™ Lite, and Nintendo Switch™ – OLED Models. Featuring dynamic RGB modes with iconic Super Mario™ designs, these controllers deliver immersive play with integrated motion controls, premium TMR thumbsticks for drift-free precision, and dual mappable back buttons for faster reactions. Stay connected with up to 30 feet of wireless range and game longer with a rechargeable battery offering up to 40 hours per charge. Packed with premium features, customization, brilliant RGB effects, and an ergonomic shape, the Rematch Wireless RGB Gaming Controllers gives you the advantage in style, precision, and next-level play.

Turtle Beach press release

As for the case, that’s sporting the same artwork as that Koopa Troop controller that you see above. While it’s “officially licensed” for use with the Switch 2, it’s compatible with the original Switch and Switch – OLED Model.

The case features an “EVA molded shell and PU leatherette exterior”, as well as what sounds like plenty of interior padding. According to Turtle Beach, users will find “a padded flap” to shield the console screen, as well as a mesh pocket for accessories. Game Card storage is included as well, right on that flap.

As mentioned, all of the above are ready for pre-order now, with a release date of May 4th, 2026. The controllers are both priced in at $64.99 USD, while the case is tagged at $29.99 USD.
