Yes, Super Mario Wonder is back, making its way to the Switch 2 this week along with a huge list of additional releases.
Super Mario Wonder-ful
Nintendo fans might be having a bit of deja vu this week, with Super Mario Wonder. It wasn’t all that long ago that the game arrived for the original Switch console after all. But hang on, because today’s is a bit of a revision. Well, that and that it’s launching for the sequel to that original console, the Switch 2.
As has become standard for Nintendo, this isn’t a straight re-release. Entitled Super Mario Wonder + Meetup in Bellabel Park, the new version of the platformer brings in the fan-favorite Koopalings, as well as a selection of new playable characters. That’s not all either, as there are also a set of multiplayer activities that players can find in the Bellabel Park section of the game.
If a Mario revision doesn’t do it for you though, there’s another port that’s just landed too, with Disney Dreamlight Valley – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. And if you’re looking for strictly new experiences, there’s also The Midnight Walk and Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
All of the above land this week for the Switch 2, and they’re not alone. Microsoft’s South of Midnight: Weaver’s Edition, Tales of the Shire, and Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. are in with that lot too. With all of that, we’re wondering if this is the biggest week of new releases for the Switch 2 yet. Might just be.
Even so though, original Switch players won’t be left out in the cold. The originator of the line has a host of launches as well, and there are some pretty big names included. Scroll down to check out the full and complete list.
