Combining two of Dark Knight’s special armors into one is toy-maker Hot Toys. The Batman XE Suit Hellbat Version is coming soon.
Batman out of hell
We’re not all that sure that either of the Batman armors featured in this combined form are what you’d call iconic. One hails from the Arkham Origins video game, with the XE suit. And the other? That’s pulled from the comics, and a tale involving the Justice League. Be that as it may though, it’s not all that arguable that the two armors aren’t pretty darn neat. And bringing them together to form one badass suit is slick as all get out.
That’s just what toy-maker Hot Toys has on tap for launch too, with the Batman (XE Suit Hellbat Version) Collectible Figure. Due out sometime between now and this February, the armor is striking, hued in the Hellbat’s red and black, and featuring the bulky form of the XE.
The detailing looks out of this world for this piece, which was just detailed by retailer Sideshow. Although we should probably add that that’s nothing new for Hot Toys. And as usual, fans will find appropriate accessories, as well as extra hands for posing, and a special display stand all included.

In Batman™: Arkham Origins’ story DLC “Cold, Cold Heart,” Batman dons the Extreme Environment (XE) Suit — a heat-generating armor designed to stand his ground against Mr. Freeze’s™ icy cryotechnology. In DC’s comic books, the Hellbat armor is a formidable suit crafted by Batman with help from the Justice League to confront threats that shatter human limits. The Batman (XE Suit Hellbat Version) 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure sports a newly developed helmeted head inspired by the Hellbat design. Standing approximately 13 inches (33 cm) tall, Batman wears a heavily armored, battle-worn version of the XE Suit enhanced with Hellbat aesthetics, including an electroplated red Bat-Symbol and red accents with a special UV luminous reflective effect. The suit is completed with a red utility belt and a black cape with embedded wire for dynamic posing options. The figure comes with a variety of interchangeable hands, including fists, Batarang-holding hands, opened gesture hands, and a telecommunication signal listening gesture hand.
