SDCC ’25: Fresh Jazwares Simpsons news includes Treehouse of Horrors and the family car

Jazwares was busy with a few announcements at Comic Con this past week, including some in the company’s Simpsons lines.

You’re humming the theme song, aren’t you?

Toy company Jazwares has a few terrific lines going right now, but one of our favorites has to be The Simpsons. Actually a pair of lines, Jazwares’ Simpsons series’ include both 2.5″ and 5″ action figures, and have so-far brought a whole bunch of staple Springfieldians to plastic life.

This past week at Comic Con saw a few more get added to the total, at least as far as upcoming launches, that is. The biggest theme for the reveals was pretty clearly the yearly Simpsons Halloween specials, called the Treehouse of Horror.

Two new 5″ figures and a “Treehouse of Horror Countdown Calendar” (which we’re guessing is Halloween in nature) will be joining that niche. Though, and this is interesting to note, the latter brings a completely different form factor with it. According to Jazwares, the calendar won’t be a release that fits into either the 5″ or the 2.5″ lines. Instead, its contents are 1.5″ in scale.

Look for the calendar to arrive exclusively at Costco locations, and both Fly Boy Bart and King Homer to land at Target.

Available exclusively at Costco this fall, Treehouse of Horror Countdown Calendar features 31 days of mystery characters and accessories. Different Treehouse of Horror episodes are represented through miniature scale 1.5-inch figures with fun holiday themed reveal packaging. The calendar will be available for $39.99.

As mentioned, the smaller 2.5″ form factor also has a new release coming for this fall, and also on the way to Target stores. This final reveal isn’t horror-themed however, instead including the family’s famous pink car. Fans can look for it to include the family Simpson in the form of compatible 2.5″ figures.

And yes, we mean the entire fam, including Bart and Homer, which are exclusive to the set.

Available exclusively at Target this fall, The Simpsons Sedan with Family Figures includes Homer’s iconic sedan and 2.5-inch figures of Homer and Bart, both exclusive to this set, as well as Lisa, Marge and Maggie. The set will be available for $29.99.
