The Joes are heading to the tundra, with the mighty Snow Cat. Or at least, they will be if the new HasLab funds next month.
Military funding
HasLab, Hasbro’s crowdfunding platform, has had quite a run for itself when it comes to the G.I. Joe Classified Series. Previous years have seen some iconic additions to the 6″ scale line by way of fan-funding, including the HISS Tank, the Dragonfly helicopter, and the Cobra Rattler (which is shipping now). All hit HasLab, and smashed through all of their stretch goals by the end of their respective campaigns.
And since Hasbro is pretty clearly going ‘Cobra-Joe-Cobra-Joe’ with the theme of these, it only makes sense that 2025 would see HasLab heading back to the Chaplain’s Motor Pool for another of the special mission force’s greats. That, as you can see above, comes in the form of the freshly revealed Snow Cat.
If the video presentation is anything to go by, this thing is looking to be beast in terms of its footprint. the Cat is bigger than the Stinger/VAMP for sure, but also bests the HISS in terms of overall length. And as for the stretch goals, they’re pretty great. The core fund includes arctic specialist and original Snow Cat driver Frostbite, with the stretches including cold weather versions of both Lady Jaye (first tier) and Flint (third tier). The mid-tier might be the one of the coolest (no pun intended) stretch goals ever though, with the Bivouac.
A classic Joe 3.75″ playset FROM THE 80s, the Bivouac includes a lean-to shelter, a rocket launcher, and furnishings like a cot and campfire. This easily could have been a separate piece, sold at retail. And while we do guess that fans will be seeing that very thing at some point, to get it included with the Snow Cat is just awesome.
Measuring over 21 inches long (534.75 mm) and 10.85 inches tall (275.64 mm), the Snow C.A.T. combines rugged engineering with battlefield precision. This premium collector’s piece comes equipped with a rotating missile turret, twin ski-mounted missiles, and working suspension—ready to conquer snowdrifts and strike Cobra positions across the most unforgiving terrains.
Fans who back this HasLab project will also receive an exclusive Classified Series figure of Farley “Frostbite” Seward, featuring premium deco, signature Arctic gear, and survival-ready accessories. A veteran of the frozen frontlines, Frostbite pilots the Snow C.A.T. into missions where only the bold survive.
Hasbro press release
Backing, and those tiers
As mentioned, and as with all HasLabs, the campaign for the Snow Cat will have to reach its goals for any of the above to happen. The base goal is 8,000 orders by August 15th, with the top tier unlocking everything at the mark of 14,000 orders.
At the time of this writing, the campaign is sitting at nearly 6,000 backers, with a little over 43 days to go. We’d guess that means the base pack-out for the Snow Cat will indeed see production, but the stretches a more of a questions mark.
Here’s how the tiers break down, if you’re keeping track:
Hasbro press release
- Tier 1 – 10,000 backers: Lady Jaye in Arctic Gear joins the ranks, armed with her signature javelins and winter-ready accessories.
- Tier 2 – 12,000 backers: The Bivouac Battle Station, a deployable field base packed with weapons, shelter, and survival gear.
- Tier 3 – 14,000 backers: Flint in Arctic Gear enters the fight with full winter gear and classic Classified Series flair.
The Snow Cat is priced in at $324.99 USD, and is targeting a late-fall 2026 delivery. Click over to Hasbro’s HasLab page for more info, and to secure one for yourself.
