Microprose is bringing another classic property back to life with Spearhead 2, a sequel to the 90s PC tank combat title.
Line ’em up and fire away
Publisher Microprose has definitely been busy since its rebirth, delivering both new titles for PC players, along with rebirths for some classic properties. The company’s latest falls into the latter of those categories, harkening all the way back to 1998 and tank combat sim Spearhead.
The just revealed Spearhead 2 will continue that line, delivering a sequel that promises to put players in the seats of tanks, IFVs, and APCs. Using those weapons of war, fans will engage in missions across the destructible battlefields of both Europe and the Middle East. Microprose says that missions will be playable solo or with ” tight-knit multiplayer crews” too.

There’s no release date just yet for Spearhead 2, but Microprose says fans can look for it some time soon on the PC (via Steam).
