Rolling on is HONŌ Studio’s Marvel Comics line, as the series welcomes in the mutant master of magnetism, Magneto.
He’s magnetic (no, really)
Somewhat quietly making some of the coolest Marvel Comics collectibles as of late is HONŌ Studio. The company has been producing some of the publisher’s biggest heroes, but what sets them apart from other figure companies out there, is that these aren’t movie adaptations. Instead HONŌ has been crafting their figures to resemble each character’s most iconic comic book looks.
So far, we’ve seen the black-suited Spider-Man, and several versions of Wolverine, but there are a few more announced figures on the horizon as well. Those include Iron Man and the company’s first villain, Magneto in his classic red and purple duds.
With that latter character just about ready to start shipping, retailer Sideshow has unleashed another of its unboxings, running through what fans will find in the box. Aside from the figure, one of the line’s staple comic-friendly stands will be included as well, plus alternate magnetic hands and some effect pieces.
The Magneto 1/6 Scale Action Figure wears a red and metallic purple costume with wired cape and features a helmeted head. Fans can demonstrate Magneto’s awesome power with attachable color effects and create an immersive display with the signature comic cover style backdrop. The figure’s gesture hands are equipped with a magnetic mechanism, allowing them to hold small metal accessories.
