Get a 9-pack of Star Wars games (on sale) in Aspyr’s new Star Wars: Grand Collection

Just in time for May the 4th, publisher Aspyr has unleashed a mega-pack of Star Wars classics for PlayStation and Switch.

Yes, a very happy Star Wars day to all who celebrate, as the yearly ‘holiday’ takes place this weekend. And if you’re looking to add to your own digital video game library for the event, Aspyr just might have you covered with the Star Wars: Grand Collection.

Though all of the games in the new pack have seen the light of day before, they’ve never been bundled together. So if you’ve been lagging on picking up the company’s retro Star Wars releases, this just might hit the rancor on the head (with a spiked gate) for you.

The Star Wars: Grand Collection is available in two flavors, which vary depending on whether you’re buying it on a PlayStation console or the Nintendo Switch (it’s not available for the PC or Xbox). For some reason, which we’re guessing adds up to licensing issues, three of the Switch edition’s games are not included in the Grand Collection for PS4 or PS5.

Buying into either, will net you digital copies of Star Wars: Republic Commando, Star Wars: Episode I Racer, Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, and Star Wars: Episode I: Jedi Power Battles. That’s a lot of retro Star Wars goodness, but the Switch version tacks on even more with fan-favorite Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, plus the iconic Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II.

If that’s not enough incentive for you, then be aware that picking up Star Wars: Grand Collection this weekend will get you in on a sale price. The set of games is currently 50% off for both PlayStation consoles and the Switch. We’ll add as well however, that for those of you who might want to cherry pick, all of Aspyr’s Star Wars offerings seem to be on sale right now.

And that’s a lot that includes both Steam and Xbox too.
