Things are getting a little more magical at SONIC, with the addition of the limited new Unicorn Dreams Slush.
Now for something completely different
We don’t make a habit of covering food items on BG, but this one’s just plain neat, and quite frankly we couldn’t resist. But then again, who could, when you’re talking about a unicorn-themed slush drink, that even comes with its own unique straw. That, in a nutshell, is the Unicorn Dreams Slush from Sonic.
Just revealed by the food giant, the 20oz Unicorn Dreams Slush sounds like it should set your summertime off with a sugar-powered blast. The new drink is a “vibrant pink cotton candy Slush” according to the restaurant, that comes complete with blue raspberry “flavor bubbles”, and is topped off with a “fluffy cloud of whipped topping and a sprinkle of shimmering pink cotton candy sugar crystals”.

experience that’s bursting with fantastical fun and flavor in each sip,” said Mackenzie Gibson,
Vice President of Culinary & Menu Innovation at SONIC. “With its playful pink colors, blue
raspberry flavor bubbles and the accompanying Unicorn Horn Straw, it is a treat for the senses
and the imagination – and guaranteed to make every moment sparkle.”
The Unicorn Dreams Slush is officially set to land in SONIC’s on May 5th, but it’s unofficially ready to go right now, via the company’s app. Those who have access to that, can order up as of this week, and get in on the fun a tad early.
Speaking of “fun”, we should probably get back to those straws. Not content to dole out a standard sipper, SONIC will be including special straws with each Unicorn Dreams Slush, including two color-changing options that go White-to-Pink or Green-to-Blue, one that’s Neon Green Glow-in-the-Dark, and finally a Frost Blue Glitter edition. The kicker? Each one of those is shaped like a unicorn horn. Yes, that’s a straw you see in the image above.
The Unicorn Dreams Slush is available for a limited time, and is priced in at $3.99 USD each. just how long that limited period will last though, is anybody’s guess. So if you want one, you might want to sip while the sipping’s good.
