Makers of sixth scale Marvel Comics figures, HONO Studio is heading to that galaxy far, far away for a rebellious new line.
HO-yes
You might’ve seen HONO Studio’s offerings right here on BG over the last year or so. The company’s figures have just started to hit the market, and there’s an impressive collection of more comic book and TV inspired Marvel offerings on the way.
Each figure is cast in a traditional 12″ format, and comes complete with what looks to be a terrific amount of detail and articulation. As cool as that line does look though, HONO isn’t resting on its laurels. Instead, the company has just debuted another brand new series of collectibles via retailer Sideshow, with Star Wars: Rebels.
Completely unlike other Star Wars lines out there, HONO Studio’s Star Wars: Rebels slate will be crafted to look like they just popped right off of the TV screen. The lineup will kick off with a pair of Imperial figures, the iconic Stormtrooper and Stormtrooper Squad Leader.

HONŌ Studio has drawn inspiration from the acclaimed animated series Star Wars: Rebels, to develop these eye-catching new 1/6 scale action figures. Recreating the iconic minimalist look of the Stormtrooper™ and the Stormtrooper Squad Leader™ as they appeared in the award-winning show.
Designed for playability, posing potential, and dynamic display options, the Stormtrooper™ and the Stormtrooper Squad Leader™ boast multiple points of articulation and newly developed armor constructed from elastic materials, providing additional flexibility. Figure accessories include an animation-style cover backdrop, multiple swap-out hands, a blaster rifle, and more.
Add these troopers to your Star Wars collection! The Stormtrooper™ and the Stormtrooper Squad Leader™ are both available to pre-order now, via Sideshow.
Sideshow press release
As with HONO Studio’s Marvel figures, these new Star Wars: Rebels offerings won’t be ultra-high priced. The Stormtrooper is tagged at $165 USD, while the Stormtrooper Squad Leader is $175 USD. Both figures are scheduled to ship some time from October of this year through March of 2026, and pre-orders are open now via Sideshow.
