As everybody knows by now, Spider-Man played host to an alien symbiote, after picking up said goop on The Beyonder’s Battleworld. While that happened in Marvel Comics’ classic 80s mini-series Secret Wars, the effects were long-lived, eventually seeing the rise of arch-villain-turned-hero Venom. The black costume has popped up a few times after that initial run as well, and it’s become a favorite alt-look for the wall-crawler.
If you’re one of the many who dig it, then you might be interested in checking out the new unboxing of HONŌ Studio’s Spider-Man (Symbiote Suit) 1/6 Scale Action Figure. The 12″ figure is getting ready to ship out from retailer Sideshow, and the latter company has shared a full look at it, to show off what’ll be in the box.
Inspired by his iconic comic book appearance, the Spider-Man (Symbiote Suit) 1/6 Scale Action Figure features a black suit with a white logo on the chest and back. The fabric-covered masked head comes with swappable eyes, allowing for a variety of expressions. Boasting 30 points of articulation, this figure is highly poseable. Accessories include newly designed web string which is bendable, plus a backpack made of webbing. A specially designed backdrop allows fans to add their own comic books to create a distinctive and personalized display for this dynamic collectible.

Unfortunately, pre-orders are sold out at the retailer, but Sideshow has opened up one of its waiting lists, and you can add your name to that for a shot if/when it comes back into stock.
