Nintendo Download: A Force to be Reckoned With

A forgotten Star Wars classic returns, along with a game where you play as a restaurant managing adventurer, and much more.

The Force will be with you

If there’s a Star Wars game dropping, you know it’s going to be highlighted in Nintendo’s Download, no matter what it is. This week’s arrival is fairly notable though, since it’s a game that fans haven’t seen in a long, long time. That, of course, is a tittle that was spun off of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, called Star Wars: Episode 1: Jedi Power Battles.

An arcade-y action game, Star Wars: Episode 1: Jedi Power Battles features action from the film, and allows players to field Episode 1 heroes Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon Jinn, plus Mace Windu and more. Naturally, the title has gotten a visual bump for this re-release, but also revamped controls and over ten new playable characters. As mentioned, it’s not alone this week either, as the Switch has a number of notable titles out.

The list includes Cuisineer, a roguelite that allows players to adventure through dungeons while also managing a restaurant, plus Achilles: Legends Untold, Guilty Gear -Strive, Ravenswatch, Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter, and many more. Scroll down to check out the full list.
