One of the bigger twists from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac, Anti-Venom is coming to Hot Toys collectors next year(ish).

The PS5 exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 might not have gotten the acclaim that its prequel did, but it’s still one of the premier Marvel Comics games out there. Along with its now-signature gameplay and top flight graphics, the title brought a number of Spidey themes and characters into the series for the first time, including Harry Osborn and Venom.
The title twisted the usual roles for the latter villain, eschewing Eddie Brock as the symbiote’s first host, and slipping Harry into the role. But that’s not all, as one of the bigger twists saw Peter Parker donning the Anti-Venom suit, for a brawl to end all brawls with his friend-turned-foe Harry.
While that’s a lot of ‘all-new and all-different’ for Marvel fans to chew on, there’s no denying that the game’s designs were slick. And if you’re thinking that’d be a cue for high-end collectible company Hot Toys to dig in, you’d be right. Fans already know that Venom (and assorted others) are on the way, but now Pete in his Anti-Venom duds can join the list.
Clad in white and black, as opposed to Venom’s black and white, this Spider-Man is looking to sever the connection between Harry and his suit. As such he’s set to include a bevy of anti-venomous accessories.
Based on his appearance in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the Peter Parker (Anti-Venom Suit) 1/6 Scale Collectible Figureby Hot Toys brings the sleek new suit design out of the game and onto your shelf.
This stunning figure features a newly developed masked headsculpt with 3 pairs of interchangeable eyes, allowing fans to create a variety of expressions. The specially designed body boasts a detailed texture and is clad in a white pearlescent Spider-Man suit embossed with a black pattern and a spider emblem on chest. Peter is ready for battle with 10 white pearlescent tendrils, which can be attached to the back of the figure.
Accessories include 6 strings of assorted webbing and 3 styles of white pearlescent power-attacking effects, which can be attached to the figure’s forearms. Highly poseable with 30 points of articulation, this striking piece also comes with a dynamic figure stand for an action-packed display.
