T2’s Judgement Day is coming with Hot Toys’ T-1000

Hot Toys has unveiled a brand new take on Terminator 2‘s menacing T-1000, complete with multiple looks and ‘steel mill’ base.

Hasta la vista

It’s kind of an old argument, as to whether the original Terminator or T2 was the best of the franchise. For us here at BG, it’s an easy pick of the sequel. The reasons are many, but aside from a wickedly good story, and the excellent special effects, there’s the epic series of battles between the heroic T-800 and villainous T-1000.

While the original film was great, showcasing a lone human soldier against Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s Terminator, T2‘s tussle of the titanium titans was that much cooler. As mentioned too, it’s a matchup that featured some of the most mind-boggling special effects (at the time) to have ever been in a film. So with all of that in mind, it’s probably worth it for fans to get pumped for what Hot Toys has in store.

The high-end action figure maker is getting ready to drop a brand new take on the T-1000, some time in late 2025 or early ’26. And from the looks of this one, it might be the ‘ultimate’ version of the character.

Based on his on-screen appearance, the T-1000 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure by Hot Toys masterfully captures the look of Robert Patrick in this iconic role.

The figure comes with two hand-painted headsculpts: a version featuring Hot Toys’ rolling eyeball system, plus a second swap-out, battle-damaged version with liquid metal design and an adjustable left eye. This highly poseable figure features 30 points of articulation and comes with a variety of swap-out hands including three liquid metal effect forearms.

The T-1000 wears a tailored outfit including a police jacket, a shirt with badge and nametag, plus a utility belt. Additional clothing allows for a variety of display options with two pairs of pants and three types of shoes, including one with a liquid metal effect.

Accessories include a helmet, a flashlight, a walkie-talkie, a pair of sunglasses, a pair of handcuffs, a submachine gun, a pistol, and a set of magnetic liquid metal effects. A specially designed steel mill-themed base with LED light-up function allows collectors to create a cinematic display.

Sideshow press release

Now, as we mentioned, this figure isn’t set to ship out for some time. According to Sideshow’s online shop, fans shouldn’t expect it until some time from October of 2025 though March of 2026. While that’s the case, pre-orders are most definitely open right now, and you can grab one of those for yourself via the above links.

The T-1000 from Hot Toys is priced in at $330 USD.
