If you’re both a video game and comics fan, then you likely know the company named Udon. A publisher of Street Fighter books for some time now, Udon has a rabid fanbase and plenty of new stuff hitting stores all the time. But this very month, it’s doing something that might be a first.
Gracing a variant cover for the ninth issue of Titan Comics’ current Conan series will be artwork from a talent called InkPot. Now, you might be asking what’s so special about that, and we’re happy to let you know that what’s special is the fact that this piece comes as a part of a direct agreement between Udon and Titan.
The variant cover is only available via Udon’s online shop, and is presented in virgin format. That means that there’s no trade dress, so while you can definitely read said issue, filled with barbarian action and swordplay, it should also look pretty fantastic framed on your wall.
Conan has traveled far and seen much in his legendary journeys, but nothing he has experienced thus far can prepare him for a quest to lands beyond to answer dark riddles of the past. Unexpected allies await, fierce enemies loom, and the strange power of the Black Stone stirs in THE AGE UNCONQUERED!
The triumphant new era of Conan continues in this a brand-new tale of brutal heroic adventure from acclaimed creators Jim Zub (Avengers, Dungeons & Dragons) and Rob de la Torre (Invincible Iron Man, King-Size Conan)!
