Broforce Forever brings Free Lives’ action movie spoof to its final update

Satirizing every action movie from Terminator to Army of Darkness, Broforce isn’t quite done yet, returning to PC and consoles next week.

The Bros are back in town, and this time they’re bringing a fresh set of lookalikes with them. Demolition Bro, Bro Gummer, Broffy the Vampire Slayer, Desperabro, Xebro, and Seth Brondle all join the terrorist-smashing action.

Broforce Forever, the long-awaited free update to 2015’s most patriotic video game, held back from freedom-loving gamers for a crime it didn’t commit, has promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade and will deliver a glistening lump of Kentucky-fried action on Aug. 8 for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and for the first time ever, Xbox One via Game Pass.

Six new Bros (some of whom aren’t ‘Bros’) and a new expanded campaign highlight the update that is Broforce Forever, but there’s a lot more to it. On top of the headlining stuff, Broforce Forever is locked and loaded with a quartet of new challenge levels that focus on Indiana Brones.

Yes, you read the name right, and the levels should add quite a bit of both action and hilarity, as they feature the adventuring Bro’s quest to unlock new… flexes. And yes, again, you read that right too. These new abilities will give any Bro the ability to flex their muscles in the face of tyranny at any time. Explosive.

But wait, there’s even more, as Broforce Forever also adds some good old fashioned bug fixes. There’ll likely be a bunch of those, as this marvelous update represents the final one for the title. With 7 million players already engaging on the game’s insanely explosive action however, it’s had a heck of run.
