Trailer: A modern classic reruns on Switch with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Starkiller is back. The Wii version of the original Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has arrived for Nintendo’s Switch, complete with Dual mode.

The secret apprentice

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a riveting untold story set in the time between Star Wars™ Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars™ Episode IV: A New Hope. Join the dark side and dive into a thrilling saga with devastating lightsaber combos, fierce multiplayer Duels, and support for Nintendo Switch Joy-Con™ motion controls.

Aspyr press release

As you can see above, this is the complete Wii version of the original game. That means motion controls are included. But off you’re motion-averse no worries, they are indeed optional and The Force Unleashed will control just as well with a control pad (or Joy-Cons).

Since this is the Wii version too, there’s also the Dual mode. More or less, that’s a fighting game add-on. And it includes a mighty 27 character-deep roster.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is out now for the Switch.
