If you thought more delays were coming for Valve’s Steam Deck, you’re going to be pleasantly surprised. The console is officially launching next month.
Steamy
It’s going to be a steamy February for PC gamers eagerly awaiting Valve’s handheld PC. That’s because the Steam Deck is on schedule to start shipping at the end of the month.
Yes, after a big delay that saw the portable gaming powerhouse pushed from December to February, things are now on track. And that means, according to Valve, you’ll be gaming on the Deck in just about a months time. Well, you might be anyway.
That little caveat has to be included, since Valve says the console is scheduled to start shipping then. When you’ll get yours depends on when it was ordered.
Hello, the day is almost here! On February 25th, we will be sending out the first batch of order emails to reservation holders. Customers will have 3 days (72 hours) from receipt of their order email to make their purchase, before their reservation is released to the next person in the queue. The first units will be on their way to customers starting the 28th, and we plan to release new order email batches on a weekly cadence.
